Alberto T. Huezo

From San Francisco

He originally started in Newark in 1974 when he was appointed City Clerk and Finance Officer. He eventually worked his way to becoming City Manager in July 1996, prior to his retirement in 2005. In April 2007, he was appointed to the Newark City council to finish the term of Susan Johnson. In November 2007 he was elected in his own right.
