The El Sobrante Stroll is an annual event put on the El Sobrante Chamber of Commerce on the 3rd Sunday in September. Beginning with a parade at 11:00 am, the Stroll blocks traffic for 1/2 mile San Pablo Dam Road in El Sobrante, from El Portal Drive to Appian Way.
Over 100 craft, food and informational booths along with custom & classic cars line the street. Over 20,000 attendees strolled San Pablo Dam Rd. in 2010. Other activities include a stunt bike show put on by the Peddler, and live music by six bands.
To register for the car show, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 510-222-1500. Registration is $20.00 and includes a free t-shirt, and the first 100 pre-registered cars receive a free pancake breakfast. Awards presented at 3:30 pm.
There is a pancake breakfast sponsored Troop 146 of the Boy Scouts of America at the Elks Lodge.
